Why is the #Play4Shea Tournament so important to Ramona Adult Softball?

On June 6, 2015, Shea Bailey went to be with the Lord due to being passenger in a tragic drunk driving motor vehicle accident. Shea was a son, brother, and a beloved member of the softball community. He was passionate about baseball, adult softball, country music, family, friends, his church, and an active lifestyle. Shea graduated from Ramona High School, where he played baseball and football, in 2010. Anyone who saw Shea around town always saw him with a smile on his face. He had an infectious laugh that was easily recognizable. Each person who came into contact with Shea can attest to his huge heart, caring attitude, and warm personality. While we all miss Shea very much, we find comfort in knowing he is in the arms of the Lord. As a way to remember and honor our dear friend, Ramona Adult Softball hosts the annual “Play For Shea Tournament.” Many wear his number “25” in his memory and play the game he loved most… softball.
